Works By KATHLEEN DIGNEY
Kathleen holds a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art where she studied both medical illustration and portrait painting.
After graduation, she began her career as a Medical Illustrator working for a large teaching and research hospital.
Approximately 20 years ago, she decided to leave the corporate world and follow her passion for portrait painting.
Currently, she creates portraits for individuals, families, and institutions and teaches through a local museum program.
RECEPTION: Thursday, February 17th, 5-8 pm.

January 2022: Cody Roberts, AKA; Hoondirt. Artist Cody Roberts's farewell show will celebrate the local artist recognized for his works around Spartanburg, including his bicycle sculptures downtown, art fixtures at Drayton Mills, and the airplane sculpture at the Spartanburg
Downtown Airport. It is a wonderful show, don't miss it!

Kate Frost and Rose Duet present their thought-provoking pieces. Rose is one of our recent 2021 Artists' Guild Juried Show winners and creator of high-energy art that comes directly from his soul. Kate is working toward her BFA at Converse University and uses her artwork to inspire activism and political change.

Ramsey + Mead
Christina Ramsey and Fred Mead will share the stage this August. Christina's brightly vivid, contemporary acrylic paintings perfectly complement Fred's brightly colored glass sculptures. Both of these artists are regulars in AGS shows and always receive rave reviews for their unique work.

Jeremy Kemp and Leon Wilkie in the gallery this month. Jeremy is one of Spartanburg's hardest-working and well-known artists. You can see his work on signs and murals throughout town. Leon's past work includes murals, fiber art, and illustrations.

Carrie Creech and Emma Dingler
Carrie Creech and Emma Dingler team up for our May Show. Carrie is a ceramicist who incorporates free form, natural shapes into utilitarian pieces you can enjoy every day. Emma is a vibrant young artist, who excels at painting, metalwork, and sculpture, she was the winner of the "People's Choice Award" in the 2020 AGS Juried Show.
Reception: May 20th, 5-8pm during Spartanburg Artwalk.

48th Annual Juried Show 2021
Guild members work will hang the entire month of April in our gallery. Greenville based artist, Sunny Mullarkey (sunnymullarkey.com) will serve as juror. Award winners will receive cash prizes totaling over $2000.
