The Artists' Guild of Spartanburg together with Spartanburg Little Theatre invites visual artists to submit work for a special exhibition celebrating the spirit, music, and legacy of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. This curated art show will run in conjunction with the theater production and will be displayed in the lobby/gallery space throughout the performance run.
We are seeking original artwork inspired by the themes of the show, including:
-
Music and songwriting
-
Identity and self-discovery
-
Women’s voices and empowerment
-
Love, resilience, and personal growth
-
The cultural energy of the 1960s–70s music scene
-
Emotion, memory, and storytelling through sound and lyrics
